Grand Seiko Boutique Limited Edition
Limited edition only available at the Grand Seiko Boutique
The Grand Seiko Boutique designed based on the Grand Seiko blue as brand color offers a rich lineup of timepieces. Among them, this limited edition model is only available at the Grand Seiko Boutique.
Multifunctionality transcending time zones
This timepiece achieves unparallel functionality as the rotating 24-hour bezel—simultaneously displays three different time zones. The design has a profound presence, while still maintaining the traditional shine of a classic Grand Seiko model. Combined with a tough exterior, water resistant down to 20 bar and highly resistant to shocks, this timepiece has been perfected as the ideal luxurious sports watch for those active on the global stage.
The rose gold color is reminiscent of a
sunrise above the clouds
It features utilizing Grand Seiko’s first 18K pink gold rotating bezel.
By resonating with the sunburst pattern of the premium black-colored dial, the bezel is reminiscent of a beautiful sunrise as seen from above in a plane.
Robust silicone strap featuring
the lion emblem
A robust black silicone strap, which shows a high affinity with the black-colored dial, is included. The lion emblem is proudly displayed on the free roop, and changing to the silicone strap will make the watch even lighter on the wrist. This strap can be attached regardless of the situation to quickly turn this timepiece into an extremely reliable travel watch.
A see-through case back so you can fully enjoy the beautiful mechanical movement
The words “Grand Seiko Boutique Limited Edition” are displayed proudly on the sapphire glass case back, which also is marked with the Grand Seiko lion emblem.
SPRING DRIVE 3-Day GMT
Spring Drive, one of the great innovations in modern watch making history, regulates a spring-driven movement with state-of-the-art electronic technology that functions without batteries or other external power source. Its sole power source is a mainspring, which drives a series of gears. Its accuracy is unprecedented for a watch wound by a mainspring. The development of the 9R Spring Drive movement was possible only because Grand Seiko is one of the few manufacturers with expertise in both mechanical and electronic watches.
In 2006, just two years after the completion of Caliber 9R65, Grand Seiko’s first 9R Spring Drive movement with GMT function, the Caliber 9R66, was unveiled.
“GMT” stands for Greenwich Mean Time, and uses a 24-hour hand (GMT hand) as the fourth hand on the watch dial in addition to the hour, minute and second hands.
